A day in the life of the
DAW-MAG saddlery
Vikaro is the
UK brand name for saddles produced in the DAW-MAG saddlery in Poland.
Facts and
figures: In the year 2005 we produced
just over 1,800 saddles, all pre-ordered.
That averages out at just over one saddle per employee per week or
around 1.25 saddles per saddle maker per week.
This is what we would expect taking into account holidays, sickness and
further education for the apprentices.
This year we will produce well in excess of that figure, and are looking
at the options of either extending the current building or buying new
